Position Overview -  Regional Manager – Central Coast

Leadership Opportunity with a Premier Dermatology Network

Location: Central Coast, CA (Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo, Arroyo Grande, Templeton, and surrounding areas)

Schedule: Full-Time, Exempt

Travel: Regional (multi-site oversight required)

Are you a motivated healthcare operations leader looking to take the next step in your career? The Skin and Cancer Institute is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Central Coast clinics. As a key member of our leadership team, you will drive clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and operational success across multiple locations.

What We're Looking For:

  1. 3–5+ years of multi-site healthcare management experience
  2. Bachelor's degree (required) in healthcare administration, business management or related field; Master's preferred
  3. Demonstrated strong leadership, organization, and people-management skills
  4. Familiarity with ModMed/EMA and Office 365 is a plus
  5. Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel regionally

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee daily clinic operations across assigned locations to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care and customer service.
  2. Lead, train, coach, and evaluate front and back office teams, including clinic leads and medical assistants.
  3. Monitor and improve clinic workflows, scheduling efficiency, staffing models, and patient throughput.
  4. Conduct regular site visits to assess performance, staff engagement, compliance, and facility needs.
  5. Partner with the billing, credentialing, HR, IT, and facilities departments to ensure operational continuity and timely issue resolution.
  6. Implement SOPs, performance standards, and policies consistently across all locations.
  7. Analyze operational data (volume, revenue, staffing, patient satisfaction) and report key findings to senior leadership.
  8. Collaborate with providers to support practice goals, clinical initiatives, and patient care quality.
  9. Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and retaining high-performing team members.
  10. Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, state, and company regulations.
  11. Lead operational response during audits, inspections, or emergency incidents.
  12. Drive continuous improvement and culture-building initiatives in alignment with company mission and values.
