Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network , a progressive, academic health system in central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Neurology Department.

Job Description & Responsibilities 

1. Join an established group of Neurologists
2. Completely clinic-based and involves seeing outpatients with a variety of general neurology cases, including but not limited to post-stroke, headache, seizure disorder, neuropathies, Parkinson’s, and dementia.
3. Option to assist with following up in-patients and performing procedures such as lumbar punctures and Botox injections
4. Close collaboration with our staff of attending neurologists
5. 100% outpatient, weekdays with 4-day work week flexibility
6. No calls, no weekends, no holidays.
7. Full Epic EMR across the Network

9. Salary Range: $104,040 - $130,000 . This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good-faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
10. Sign-on Bonus up to $50,000

Job Qualifications

1. National certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
2. NYS licensure
3. BLS certification required
4. DEA required
