Position: Mortgage Loan Originator (Remote) NMLS active license required
Position Overview:
As a Mortgage Loan Originator, your primary responsibility will be to guide borrowers through the loan process. You will help them choose the best loan program, complete their loan applications, and gather essential paperwork such as pay stubs, tax returns, and bank statements. You'll also work closely with key players in the mortgage process, including appraisers, title officers, escrow officers, loan processors, and underwriters.
Key Responsibilities:
Originate mortgage loans through self-generated leads, corporate referrals, and marketing campaigns.
Interview applicants to understand their goals and match them with the right loan products, terms, and pricing.
Complete loan applications, conduct preliminary reviews, and submit them to processing and underwriting for approval.
Ensure timely collection of all documents needed for processing, underwriting, and closing.
Engage in daily marketing activities to generate 4+ loans per month.
Respond to customer inquiries and provide support throughout the loan process.
Meet individual and team sales/production goals and objectives.
Maintain and effectively use CRM systems.
Requirements:
Active NMLS License.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a loan originator.
High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Exceptional organizational abilities and the capability to manage multiple loans at once.
Proficiency in analyzing and understanding complex financial data.
Professional, effective interpersonal skills.
Ability to work within established operating hours.
Self-motivated and proactive.
High ethical standards in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and partners.
