Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Medical Physicist at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Portsmouth Virginia .

This position offers: Ind.Physician

• Outpatient Clinic
• Full time
• Compliant patient population made up of active and retired military personnel and their families

Qualifications

• Board certification and maintain acceptable Maintenance of Certification status in a branch of medical physics by an appropriate certifying agency sanctioned by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs (CAMPEP) or be licensed to practice medical physics by an appropriate jurisdiction sanctioned by the CAMPEP.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience within the preceding seven (7) years as a Diagnostic Medical Physicist in a hospital setting.
• Meet FDA requirements to perform mammography equipment performance evaluations and surveys.
• Meet ACR requirements to support accreditation in Mammography, Computerized Tomography and Ultrasound
