Job Title: Medical Assistant (MA)
Pay Rate: $20.00–$24.00/Hour
Location: Indianapolis, IN
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to provide both front and back office support in a busy healthcare setting. This role involves direct patient interaction, clinical procedures, and administrative duties.
ResponsibilitiesGreet and room patients
Take vitals, perform phlebotomy/venipuncture, and administer vaccines
Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
Assist with scheduling and answering phones
Provide clinical support as needed to ensure smooth patient flow
Maintain collaborative relationships with healthcare staff
Support health education and outreach initiatives
Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (in addition to externship)
2–3 years of total relevant experience preferred
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
Occupational Health experience strongly preferred
Proficiency in phlebotomy/venipuncture and Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
BLS or CPR certification required
Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and computer proficiency
Front and back-office experience
Phlebotomy and EKG proficiency
POC testing
Patient scheduling
Rooming patients and recording vitals
