JOB OVERVIEW:
The Events Manager will be proactive, personable, and a highly organized professional responsible for driving event sales, managing group bookings, and ensuring flawless execution of private dining experiences and special events. This individual will play a pivotal role in maximizing revenue across Ambassadors Clubhouse, cultivating long-term client relationships, and acting as an ambassador for the brand during high-profile occasions. The Events Manager must uphold the standards of excellence that define JKS, professional etiquette and compliance with all health and labor regulations. 

 

RATE OF PAY:
$75,000 - 90,000 annually, plus commission


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Manage and execute the events sales strategy to maximize revenue opportunities from group bookings, buyouts and private dining rooms.
  • Respond to and convert inquiries efficiently, following established standards to maximize conversion rates.
  • Develop and implement targeted sales initiatives with third-party platforms to increase group and event bookings.
  • Maintain accurate tracking and reporting of all sales initiatives while building and managing a robust pipeline of prospective clients.

Client & Partner Relationships

  • Create, develop, and maintain strong, engaging relationships with local businesses, corporate partners, and high-value clients.
  • Ensure consistent client follow-up to drive repeat business and guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and maintain sponsor relationships, collaborating on site-wide and group-wide activations including product launches and brand partnerships.

Event Execution & Operations

  • Lead pre-event processes including site visits, tailored proposal creation, and contract negotiation to secure bookings.
  • Partner closely with the operations and culinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of events and private hires.
  • Oversee event logistics and BEO meetings to ensure exceptional service, smooth execution, and elevated guest experiences.
  • Manage post-event responsibilities including gathering client feedback, conducting event debriefs, and compiling reporting to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement.

Collaboration & Marketing

  • Work closely with the Marketing Team to align on campaigns, initiatives, and resources that drive group and events revenue.
  • Support the creation of engaging event content and promotions, ensuring consistent brand alignment.
  • Collaborate across departments to create a culture of excellence, teamwork, and accountability.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum (2) years in a Sales & Events Manager role, preferably in a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment.
  • Strong business development skills with proven ability to generate and convert event sales.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and engaging manner.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/event management systems (TripleSeat).
  • Hospitality-focused mindset with strong attention to detail and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
