Job Description
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll work 100% remotely to provide exceptional care to our members, partners, plan sponsors, and investment professionals. You'll leverage your understanding of various financial products and plans to address customer inquiries, resolve account issues, and provide valuable support. Key Responsibilities:
Respond to incoming calls from investment professionals, plan sponsors, and members, addressing a variety of topics related to financial products.
Understand and apply changes to both current and retired products, using the latest communications to ensure accurate service.
Proactively identify customer needs, offering consultative advice and solutions to address their concerns.
Document all interactions to build stronger customer relationships and provide a personalized experience.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, policies, and laws.
Educate customers on key financial topics, such as tax implications, penalties, death benefits, and income options.
Resolve customer issues efficiently, aiming for first-time resolution while collaborating with internal teams when necessary.
Participate in monthly one-on-one meetings with leadership to map out career goals and growth opportunities.
Additional tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Excellent customer service skills with at least 1 year of call center experience.
Knowledge of insurance products and the sales process is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable with computers and office software.
Ability to understand plan and contract details and use technology to enhance customer interactions.
Work Environment and Schedule:
Training: 6 weeks of fully remote training, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
Post-Training: Flexible schedule options after training, including fully remote, hybrid (1-2 office days per month), or in-office.
Working Hours: After training, shifts are Monday - Friday (8 AM - 9 PM) and Saturday (6 AM - 4 PM).
Internet Access Required.
